ABSTRACT
Transcranial magnetic stimulation TMS is the first new physical technique used since 1993 in investigations on their antidepressant efficacy. Literature investigations show, that the majority of clinical investigations were carried out in the control to placebo and were double-blinded. The lack of a possibility of obtaining the true placebo conditions causes, that the terms of double blinding, as declared by different authors are less credible. TMS stimulation does not allow even single-blinding of clinical investigations.
